Getting Started! The basics. You’ll get started on a long-term savings and investment plan. You’ll open a dedicated savings account with Charlotte Metro Credit Union, and set up automatic deposit of $20 per pay period. Special Guest: Trina Fullard, Charlotte Rescue Mission

Give Yourself Credit. You want to always be a credible borrower. Good credit hygiene. starts with understanding your credit report, including credit scores, using “free credit” and auto financing. And, we’ll cover how to avoid high-cost credit. Special Guest: Mary Quinn, Common Wealth Charlotte

Take It To The Bank! We’ll cover using banking accounts with intent. We’ll talk about how your credit union accounts can work for you, helping you manage weekly, monthly and yearly cash flow. And we’ll cover how to avoid fees. Special Guest: Reggie Gaither, First National Bank

The Value of Goals. It’s important to have financial goals for all you want to accomplish. We will talk about your dreams, set short-, medium- and long-term goals, and help you establish measures of success. Special Guest: Pam Rudd, Regions Bank
